Brook Hoover is a local rocker and founding member of Surf Zombies. He is a patient, caring, certified, experienced instructor with a passion for sharing music. Find him on Facebook and YouTube. You can purchase his awesome Guitar Chord book on eBay, a great compliment to this class.
What should you play at the guitar store?
So you want to go try out some guitars at the local music store... It can be pretty intimidating for a beginning musician to walk into a guitar store full of other musicians. You want to try out that dream guitar of yours, but you don't know what to play. Brook's advice? Keep it simple. Use the chords you've learned in his previous lessons to see if that guitar sounds, plays, and feels great. Try an E, G, D, A, E progression. "That sounds like rock!" Brook says.
