Russ is a graphic artist and musician based in Cedar Rapids. He has worked with many students in our After School Enrichment Program and at The Music and Arts Studios, teaching both art and music classes.

The art of Character Design
Design your own looks and personalities to create your own character drawings.
We'll start by making a 'line of action' and create simple shapes to build upon. Experiment with details, textures, shadows, and colors along the way. Maybe your character will take on a life of its own as you create!
