Submissions are welcome from any high school artist from Eastern Iowa Arts Academy.

Criteria:
- You may submit art you have made yourself, or you can work in a small team. Artwork should be original.
- Art theme should be positive and promote/celebrate Cedar Rapids. (Ideas: What do you love about Cedar Rapids? Public art, hiking, river, library, local community, food, fireworks, biking, etc.)
- Your art will be digitized. Submit your art in vector format. If you cannot, the city can help with this.
- Area to be covered with art are shown in yellow in the above photos. Dimensions are approximate and will be finalized for printing by wrap vendor. Designs shall cover both sides of truck. Artists should incorporate only the yellow areas illustrated in designs; no moving parts shall be included in designs. The artist team(s) will not paint or otherwise apply art directly to the trucks.
- The artwork must be appropriate for all‐ages.
- Submission should not include signage; promotion of any business, organization, individual or product; logos; any breach of intellectual property; trademarks; images of illegal activity; advertisements; or political or religious content. The designs must not include any imagery that could be interpreted as City of Cedar Rapids street signage or traffic signaling.
- Art/Design Team(s) shall be responsible for making minor alterations to the submitted design following selection committee and/or Public Art Commission input. No more than three rounds of edits shall be requested.
- Applicants must be high school students from Eastern Iowa Arts Academy. Become a member today!
- The city of Cedar Rapids will choose four designs. Selected final artworks will become City property. Art Teams must sign artist waiver provided by City of Cedar Rapids.
- All information must be compiled together into a single PDF or Word document and received by 3:00 pm by February 27th, 2025. Include your name(s) and the finalized artwork.
